distract the target the other would take what they could.

boys into criminals.
- If you were rich and you went to the East of london you would definatly be pickpocked or robbed.
Pickpockets were a big problem in
Victorian London because of the high numbers of poor people who had to
steal to survive. There weren't enough jobs so they didn't have a choice.
Pickpockets were poeple who robbed poeple. They didn't attack people they
tried to steal without being noticed.
A lot of Victorians that had things stolen by pickpockets but they never botherd reporting it to the police because they wheren't any good.
Kids between the age of 5 and 10 were
being put in prison because of the
pickpocketing crime that took place in London!!!
Pickpocket means take something
off somebody without them knowing.
