End of Key Stage 1 Monitoring.
The results of monitoring which was carried out in September 2008 are as follows:
Results are based on end of Key Stage 1 SAT Results.
The average point score for the end of Key Stage 1 is 15 (Level 2b).
Average Point Scores (overall)
The groups overall average point score for English, maths and science was 16.68 (Level 2a) which is above average for the end of Key Stage 1. This equates to a Value Added Score of 101.6 which is well above average.
The boys overall average point score for English, maths and science was 16.9 (Level 2a) which is above the average range for the end of Key Stage 1.
The girls overall average point score for English, maths and science was 16.5 (Level 2a) which is above average for the end of Key Stage 1.
Average Point Scores (reading)
The groups overall average point score for reading was 16.7 (Level 2a) which is above average for the end of Key Stage 1.
The boys overall average point score for reading was 16.8 (Level 2a) which is above average for the end of Key Stage 1.
The girls overall average point score for reading was 16.5 (Level 2a) which is above average for the end of Key Stage 1.
Average Point Scores (writing)
The groups overall average point score for writing was 16.42 which is above the average range for the end of Key Stage 1.
The boys overall average point score for writing was 16.4 which is above average for the end of Key Stage 1.
The girls overall average point score for writing was 16.45 which is above average for the end of Key Stage 1.
Average Point Scores (maths)
The groups overall average point score for maths was 16.9 which is above average for the end of Key Stage 1.
The boys overall average point score for maths was 17.4 which is well above average for the end of Key Stage 1.
The girls overall average point score for maths was 16.45 which is above average for the end of Key Stage 1.
Overall the results show that this group has made good progress across Key Stage 1 in the manor anticipated by the end of Foundation Stage Profile.
Expected progress through Key Stage 2 should show this group functioning either within or very close to the level 5 range.
There are no significant differences between boys and girls however boy are slightly outperforming girls by a single point (or one school term) in maths.
Only one child is currently on our SEN register.
